What is ethics? You can say they are rules and morals which an individual chooses to base his/her life upon. To classify them as wrong or right can be difficult as these vary from person to person. Determination on any belief is the key to living life abiding good ethics. Here are a few tips which will help you do so.
1. Be committed your principles
Once you have decided to follow certain rules and stick to certain disciplines, to lead your life follow those with all your heart. Don’t give up and self-motivate to see through the task within the realms of the rule. For instance, if you have decided to quit smoking, resolve to quit it at all costs.
2. Understand and then decide
Ethics can be a difficult thing to inculcate and even difficult to follow. Every time you face a scenario which is against morals and ethics, understand the situation, listen to both side of the story and then decide if the rules were breached or not.
3. Take responsibility
First and foremost know what your responsibilities as a family member, office employee, friend, citizen etc are. Make sure you give your best effort to fulfill those and if you fail somewhere or go wrong, accept your mistake. Blame game never helps.
4. Practice and develop habits
Like every other thing, good habits can be sharpened and perfected with practice. For example, if you decide that you will be on time everywhere you go, make sure you make it a practice to do so continuously and slowly but surely you will never be late.

Exercising or playing a game or a musical instrument are some activities that take your mind in a calm zone. During this time think about what you want from life and about you as person. A very effective method to discipline your mind and thoughts.
